Membership
Dr. Williams affiliated with MDVIP in 2023. That gave the practice a structure: far fewer patients, the Annual Wellness Program, and the time to use both. Here is what that means in practice, and what it does not mean.
I Insurance and the fee
Nearly everyone arrives at this page worried they are being asked to pay twice for the same care. They are not. These are two different kinds of medicine, and the two lists below never overlap.
Insurance: sick care
Billed to your in-network insurance exactly as it is today. Keep your plan, keep your card, keep your coverage. Medicare included. This is the side that catches you when something goes wrong.
Membership: health and wellness
Preventive care that insurance does not typically cover, and is not reimbursable by it. This is the side aimed at keeping you well and out of the hospital in the first place.
II What membership includes
An advanced exam each year, featuring comprehensive screenings and diagnostics that go beyond what is usually covered by insurance, and a wellness plan built around you.
When something comes up, you are seen that day or the next, rather than weeks later.
Visits are scheduled with enough room for everything you came in for, and the things you almost did not mention.
Direct after-hours communication with Dr. Williams for urgent concerns, and continued support from him even when you are out of town.
When you need a cardiologist or a surgeon, the referral comes from a physician who knows your history and follows through.
The same doctor every time. No rotating providers, no starting your story over at every visit.
III What it costs
Membership is one yearly figure. There is no per-visit charge on top of it and no tiered plan to choose between. Many members put an HSA or FSA toward it.
The office will give you the exact number on the first call, along with what it includes, and nobody is asked to decide on the phone. If it is not right for you, that is a perfectly good outcome of the conversation.
IV How to join
01
Use the form or ring the office. No health questions, and nothing is decided on that first call.
02
The office explains what membership includes, what it costs, and how it works alongside your insurance. Ask everything.
03
An in-person visit before you commit to anything, so the decision is made after meeting the physician, not before.
04
Your first annual wellness exam is booked, and from that morning forward you have a plan and a physician who answers.

The office will give you the figure, explain exactly what it covers, and let you think about it. No obligation, and no health questions on the form.
