The Annual Wellness Program
Every membership practice is built around a single event, and this is it. An advanced exam each year, comprehensive screenings and diagnostics, and a wellness plan you can actually hold.
I Why it exists
A full morning with one patient, once a year, does not fit inside a conventional schedule, and it is not preventive care that insurance has ever reimbursed a physician to provide. The membership fee is what makes the time possible.
That is the honest reason a program like this is rare. The fee buys the hours back. What happens inside those hours is the actual product, and it is aimed squarely at finding things early enough to do something about them.
II How the program runs
01
Bloodwork is drawn ahead of the visit so your results are on the table when you sit down, rather than arriving in a portal message a week later. You complete a questionnaire covering your history, your family history, your medications and how you actually live.
02
An advanced exam each year, featuring comprehensive screenings and diagnostics that go beyond what is usually covered by insurance. The exact panel is set by Dr. Williams based on your age, your history and your risk.
03
The part that takes the most time, and the reason the practice is kept small. Dr. Williams walks you through every result, what it means, what changed since last year, and what he is watching, so nothing is left for you to interpret on your own.
04
You leave with a custom wellness plan designed for you: what to change, what to monitor, what to screen for next, and which specialists, if any, you should be seeing. It is the document the rest of the year runs against.
The program is built to give Dr. Williams a deeper understanding of your health, your lifestyle and your goals, and to turn that into wellness planning personalized to your needs. Ask the office what your own exam would include.
III Where the attention goes
Every physician has areas they have gone deeper on. These are his, and they shape what the Annual Wellness Program looks for.

He was appointed to direct Beaumont’s precision health genetics screening program, and that work informs how he approaches screening here.
Blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar, tracked year over year against your own numbers rather than against a population average.
IV After the exam
A wellness plan that sits in a drawer is worth nothing. The rest of membership exists to keep this one in motion: same-day and next-day appointments when something comes up, 24/7 physician availability when you are unsure, unhurried follow-ups, and a physician who already knows what you agreed to in March when you call him in September.
